When you picture Vermont, you probably imagine peace and quiet and bucolic mountain views – but the state’s faster, louder side has a proud history too. Racing is in Vermont’s blood just as much as maple syrup. “Anything for Speed” explores over a century of the history and evolution of racing in Vermont through the objects, photographs and recollections that comprise this unique story. Showcasing many items that have not been exhibited to the public before, it illustrates the people, places and cars contributing to the fabric of our history in all corners of the state. Enjoy Free Admission and activities from 9:00am-12:00pm. Discover treasures unseen since their racing days: trophies, models, car parts, fire suits, flags, photographs… and more. Share your memories on our talk-back wall, or challenge your friends in our racing simulator. Exhibit runs through March 30, 2019.
