Winchester, NH: In less than two weeks, Monadnock Speedway will be back in action hosting the traditional Bond Auto Parts Spring Dash 100. The special event season opener was delayed by two weeks due to the extended winter and mud season in the Northeast. The event will feature the first race of the season for Valenti Modified Racing Series as they compete in 100 laps around the 1/4 mile high banked track. All the speedway's NASCAR Whelen All American Series divisions will be competing along with the weekly Young Gun division, visiting NE Classic Lites and Pro 4 Modifieds. The speedway will start racing at 4pm due to all the divisions that will be present vying for opening day victories. Pit gates will open at 10am with practice starting at 1pm. General admission will open at 1pm.
The speedway will host their annual test and tune session on Saturday, April 25th. The session will include all the weekly divisions along with the Valenti Modified Racing Series along with other tours that make a stop at speedway throughout the 2015 season. Pit gates will open at 9 am for the test and tune. General admission is free on the test and tune event for all the fans to preview the competition that lies ahead.
The owners and management are very excited as the 2015 season will offer fans many special events throughout the season including the Whelen Modified Tour and the Tri Track Modified event later in the season. The Valenti Modified Racing Series will be competing three times and the Granite State Pro Stocks are scheduled twice for full bodied action. Fans will also enjoy another section that was installed of chair back seating, better known as the old Riverside Park Speedway chair backs.
