Erik Jones wins XFINITY race at Bristol: #20-Erik Jones won the Fitzgerald Glider Kits 300 at Bristol Motor Speedway for his 3rd XFINITY Series career win and 1st of the year. The win earns him a spot in the NASCAR XFINITY Series Chase this year. He also won the $100,000 Dash 4 Cash bonus. Jones took the lead from #42-Kyle Larson on a restart with 3 laps to go. #18-Kyle Busch finished second, followed by #42-Kyle Larson, #2-Austin Dillon, #7-Justin Allgaier, #19-Daniel Suarez, #3-Ty Dillon, #$88-Kevin Harvick, #22-Joey Logano, and #98-Aric Almirola.
Jones had the fastest qualifying time this morning and led all 50 laps to win the first heat race. He started the main from the pole.
There were 3 cautions for 23 laps and 10 lead changes among 4 leaders.
The average speed was 93.829mph.

Connecticut Modified shoe Ryan Preece started 26 and finished 19th and 3 laps down driving the GK Chevrolet #01, Preece now sits 17th in the standings after 7 races with 115 points and -127 back in gaining some Xfinity seat time.

Bristol XFINITY Race Fast Facts: Erik Jones won the 34th Annual FITZGERALD GLIDER KITS 300, his third victory in 33 NASCAR XFINITY Series races.
This is his first victory and fifth top-10 finish in 2016.
This is his first victory and third top-10 finish in three races at Bristol Motor Speedway.
Kyle Busch(i) (second) posted his 19th top-10 finish in 23 races at Bristol Motor Speedway. It is his sixth top-10 finish in 2016.
Kyle Larson(i) (third) posted his fifth top-10 finish in six races at Bristol Motor Speedway.
Erik Jones (first) was the highest finishing rookie.
Daniel Suarez leads the point standings by 6 points over Erik Jones.
