Suarez wins Truck Series Race at Phoenix:

#51-Daniel Suarez claimed his first career Truck Series win in the Lucas Oil 150 at Phoenix International Raceway on Friday night. Suarez was running second when his Kyle Busch Motorsports teammate, #9-William Byron, lost an engine just 11 laps from the finish. Suarez inherited the lead and Byron finished 27th. The results dropped him out of the final four in the Chase to the Championship for the final race of the season at Homestead-Miami Speedway. Byron won six races this season, earned the pole in Phoenix, and led a race high 112 of the 150 laps.
#21-Johnny Sauter, #88-Matt Crafton, #13-Cameron Hayley, #17-Timothy Peters, #8-John Hunter Nemechek, #4-Christopher Bell, #11-Matt Tifft, #33-Ben Kennedy, and #00-Cole Custer were the remainder of the top-10.
#21-Sauter, #88-Crafton, #4-Bell, and #17-Peters are the final four contending for the Championship in Homestead.
Suarez's win secured the manufacturer's championship for Toyota.
There were 9 cautions for 49 laps and 5 lead changes among 3 leaders.
The average speed was 84.441mph.
