Lorraine Pard MRNETS Series Director to Step Down

Posted by Wayne G. Barber
Mr. Rooter New England Truck Series Director Lorraine Pard has stepped down due to medical reasons effective immediately.
Former driver Pete Cayer has been named to replace Pard.  Cayer has been affiliated with the series since 2012 and was series Rookie of the Year in 2013.  In 2014 Cayer split time between announcing for the series and driving in the series.  He is currently 6th in the 2015 series standings, with 4 top 10's in 6 starts, but will hang up his helmet to take over as Mr Rooter New England Truck Series Director.
"I'm honored to be asked to fill in for Lorraine while she's taking some time off," said Cayer.  "This is a very different position for me, but I look forward to working with all our teams and officials to put the best possible product on the racetrack for our fans."
