Matt Kenseth Wins at Richmond

Kenseth wins at Richmond: #20-Matt Kenseth won the Federated Auto Parts 400 Sprint Cup Series race at Richmond International Raceway for his 4th win of the season, 2nd win at Richmond and 35th career win. Kenseth led 352 of the 400 laps.
#18-Busch finished 2nd followed by #22-Logano, #43-Almirola, #88-Earnhardt Jr., #11-Hamlin, #24-Gordon, #2-Keselowski, #48-Johnson and #15-Bowyer.
With his 4th win of 2015, Kenseth ties Johnson and Kyle Busch for most wins, will each start the Chase with 2012 points.
#4-Harvick led the points for the regular season with 978 points, 30 more than #22-Logano.
#1-McMurray clinched a spot in the Chase just by starting. Four other drivers got in the Chase via points: #31-Newman, #24-Gordon, #15-Bowyer and #27-Menard. McMurray and Menard make the Chase for the first time. #43-Almirola make a great effort to make the Chase and finished 4th but fell 17 points short of Menard.
One odd incident happened on lap 290 when #95-McDowell hit the safety truck, tearing much of the rear of the car off. It was the end of the race for McDowell, who escaped injury as did the safety workers.
There were 13 lead changes among 4 drivers. There were 6 cautions for 47 yellow flag laps.
The average speed was 100.353mph.
