Vintage Outlaws thrill crowd at Star Speedway

Posted by Wayne G. Barber

Star Speedway

In conjunction with the NEMA event, the highly competitive VintageOutlaws ran their H M S  Tire Conditioner & Equipment  40 lap
feature.

Tom Ronhock jumped out to the early lead with Jim Lowrey, Art
Hannaford, Gary Byington and Glen Billings in hot pursuit. By lap ten
Lowreys constant pressure on Ronhock paid off and Lowrey's slick pinto
modified pulled away leading the final  thirty laps leaving  Ronhock
and Billings fighting  for the runner-up spot.

When the checkers waved Lowrey added another win to his credit.
Ronhock finished second outracing Billings who finished third.
Forth thru tenth were (23) Bill Boudreau, (71) Arthur Hannaford, (70)
Doug Sogolow, (7ct.) Gary Byington, (79) Scott Tucker, (13) Tony Palm,
(41) Ben LeVangie
