Larson wins Truck Series Race at Eldora #24-Kyle Larson overcame a one-lap deficit to win the Aspen Dental Dirt Derby at Eldora Speedway on Wednesday. Larson was penalized one lap for intentionally bringing out a caution just 50 laps into the race. In the closing laps, he was able to hold off the defending race-winner, #4-Christopher Bell, to get the win. Bell finished second, followed by: #98-Rico Abreu, #11-Jake Griffin, #29-Tyler Reddick, #00-Cole Custer, #13-Cameron Hayley, #19-Daniel Hemric, #22-Austin Wayne Self, and #88-Matt Crafton.
#63-Bobby Pierce led the field to green and held the position for 102 of the event's 150 laps. With just over 25 laps remaining however, Pierce bounced hard off of the wall while chasing down Larson. The damage was done and he ended the race in 25th.
There were 9 cautions for 52 laps and 3 lead changes among 2 leaders.
The average speed was 41.971mph.
